I have played countless of rounds of blackjack. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to beat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or beat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy 21. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original value.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a few months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Wager $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first $5 wager

Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet

Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 bet

Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet

Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first $160 bet

If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
