I have bet on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of cash at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that 21 appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this tactic! And a few months ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you see betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first five dollar bet

Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of $10

Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet

Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet

Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $40 wager

Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet

If you departed at this point you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
