I have played countless of rounds of 21. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of bankroll at blackjack. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the house.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this method! And a couple of weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 bet

Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10

Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 wager

Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet

Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40

Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar bet

Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of $160

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet

If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
