Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a crazy ride. It is a game that kicks off slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you ramp up your bankroll, you feel as though you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom drops.

Blackjack is so similar to a crazy ride the similarities are ghastly. As with the popular fair ground ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will appear as though they are going great for a time before it bottoms out yet again. Of course you have to be a bettor that is able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game mainly because the game of black jack is choked full with them.

If you like the little coaster, one that can’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the rollercoaster ride is with a much bigger bet, then hop aboard for the coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-stakes gambler will love the view from the monster roller coaster because he/she is not thinking on the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few bettors adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s awesome, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to flip and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.

If you do not, you may not always remember how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a nice ride … your head in the air. As you are remembering "what ifs", you won’t recount how "high up" you went but you will be reminded of that disappointing drop as clear as day.
